Since I posted about an anthology release yesterday, I thought I’d mention a few more that I’ve had stories in recently…

Hooray! It’s release day for Christmas Romance Digest 2021: Home for the Holidays! I’m thrilled to have a story in this lovely collection, and it’s available in both digital and print formats. Here’s the scoop:
Heart-rending, happy-ending romances to enhance your holidays!
Family get-togethers for the holiday season can sooth our emotions or savage our souls. No one knows us better than the family and friends we choose share such times with.
In each of these seven delightful short romances, our heroes and heroines find going home for this season even more of a heart-wrench, for true love challenges their deepest held beliefs. Going home for the holidays has never felt so wonderful.
This is the first annual edition of the Christmas Romance Digest, edited by national award-winning, best-selling romance author Tracy Cooper-Posey, featuring some of Romanceland’s most beloved authors.
Yesterday we discussed baking bread from scratch. Today I give you its perfect accompaniment: Potato & Cheddar Soup!
(It must be fall… my thoughts have turned to warm bread and hearty soup *lol*)
I found LOTS of recipes online that I could link to for this seasonal favorite, but finally decided on one posted by a brand of commercial cheese. Now, I happen to like Sargento cheese, but don’t feel the need to buy that particular brand. They just happen to have a recipe that gives basic, easy to follow directions, as well as a site that isn’t littered with flashing ads and doesn’t make you scroll forever to find the recipe. I’m a simple soul. If I want to see the recipe, I want to see the recipe, not all the other stuff some sites throw in my face.
So, check out this version of Potato & Cheddar Soup.
Happy eating!
Okay. I’m not talking about the legendary king, though I dearly love all the tales about him. Nope, in this instance, I’m talking about the company that produces some mighty fine flour.
Once upon a time, when my children were small, I baked all of the bread for our household from scratch… and loved every minute of it! My husband even modified a section of our kitchen cabinets to be just the right height for kneading the dough. Considering my lack of height (I’m barely 5’2″ and rarely wear shoes in the house!), that modification was greatly appreciated. Now that it’s just the two of us, we get by on the store bought staff of life. But I still appreciate the art baking bread and enjoy the occasional visit to a local bakery. The smell alone of fresh baked bread is heavenly.
So, if you have a sudden urge to try your hand a baking bread, here’s a great place to start: The Easiest Loaf of Bread You’ll Ever Bake… from a very dependable source! I encourage you to click around on King Arthur Baking Company’s website; they have a lot to offer.
