Tuesday Cuteness…PLUS!

Wow! I’m finding a blogful of things to post this Tuesday morning! I’ll save some for later, but there are a couple that just *can’t* wait!

First and most exciting, it’s “Happy Release Day” for A Cup of Comfort for Families Touched by Alzheimer’s! I’m planning to stop by a bookstore over the lunch hour and snap a picture of it on the shelf!! Woo Hoo!! If you have a sighting, feel free to comment. I’d love to hear about it!

Next, I’m excited to share the gorgeous advertising art that is currently gracing a page of Realms of Fantasy…featuring my recent anthology, Star Stepping!

Also, my fabulously talented publisher, Marci Baun, has posted a great craft article at Murder By 4. If “as” is a frequent weed-word in your literary garden, check out Marci’s tips for eradicating the little sucker!

And finally, Tuesday Cuteness:

Black and white proliferation…

Happy Tuesday, everyone!!

Excellent New Review for STAR STEPPING

Jeff Ovall of Yellow 30 Sci-Fi reviewed STAR STEPPING and gave it high praise!

Here’s a taste of his comments:
Avid readers of Fantasy and Sci-Fi will be hard pressed to find a more thoroughly enjoyable collection of tales than those proffered in this eclectic and amusing Anthology put together by Wild Child Publishing.Com.

I’m pleased that he mentioned two of my three stories in his review:
And no better sagas could begin or end such a fine collection as the two written by Debbie Mumford:  “Beneath and Beyond” and “The Tie That Binds.”  The first pulls the reader in with a fascination for archeology, only to be slung across a mythological universe that changes world history; and the last, a story of deep relational bonds, so strong only the ravages of war could break, leaving the reader feeling paradoxically satisfied yet wanting much more.

He ended his comments with praise for all of us:
With the quality of talent and pedigree of authors presented in this anthology, it is easy to envision any one of them gracing the covers of Best Sellers in the not-too-distant future.

Absolutely awesome!! I couldn’t be more pleased with this review.
