Thirteen Writers Whose Books Debbie Mumford Will Buy…
Without Even Reading the Blurb
1. Linda Howard. “Dying to Please” is my all-time favorite!
2. Diana Gabaldon. Jamie and Claire. Sigh.
3. Nora Roberts / J.D. Robb. I love the “In Death” series…wonderful!
4. Jim Butcher. Harry Dresden and Codex Alera…two very different, but equally fascinating series.
5. George R.R. Martin. A Song of Ice and Fire series…talk about epic fantasy!
6. Johann Lindsey. My personal favorite is “The Heir.”
7. Mercedes Lackey. Love her fairy tale based stories.
8. Holly Lisle. Love Faia of “Fire in the Mist.”
9. Patricia Briggs. Have you met Mercy Thompson? Talk about a kick-ass heroine! Check her out in “Moon Called.”
10. Eoin Colfer. Artemis Fowl…the amazing teenage criminal master-mind. Love him!
11. Devon Monk. A soon-to-be-published urban fantasy author who just happens to be a friend and crit partner! You’re going to love “Magic to the Bone.”
12. Ken Scholes. Another friend with a novel series coming out. Epic fantasy at its finest! Watch for “Lamentation.”
13. Rhonda Stapleton. Can’t wait for Rhonda’s young adult series to hit the shelves!

Very cool list!
I love Nora Roberts writing, whether it’s her JD Robb In Death series or not.
I’d add Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum books but essentially our lists are very similar. Happy TT!
