As my runes have been teaching me, Balance is Good!
Happy Tuesday, one and all!

I bought a new set of rune stones this weekend. They’re hematite and they’re lovely!
I’ve been enjoying getting to know these runes…they have a nice, weighty feel in my hand. I’ve always loved hematite, and its properties seem especially appropriate to runes.
Believe it or not, they’ve already helped me significantly; I used them to plot my next novel! I may not know the exact scenes that will illustrate the principles yet, but I know I won’t have a muddle in the middle. The runes have given me a complete story arc. Can’t wait to start writing!
Later!
I’m continuing my study of castles in puzzles. Today we journey to Scotland and Edinburgh Castle…
Enjoy! I’ll post my time in comments. Be sure to leave yours so we can compare *lol*

Time to go fishing!
Everyone needs a friend to tell them the truth. Especially when they don’t want to hear it. That may actually be the definition of friendship: the ones who care enough to tell us the truth.
My BFF told me it was time to stop evading the camera and have an “author” shot taken. Definitely NOT what I wanted to hear. I had a bad experience with a professional photographer’s shots a while back, so I’ve been dragging my feet about this. *sigh*
I hate it when she’s right, but it’s even worse when she bullies me into compliance.
So, yesterday (in the middle of a quilting day) she did my hair, chose my wardrobe, and plopped me in front of her very talented amateur photographer husband.

Yep. Good friends are a treasure.
