Around the Romance World

RWA had its conference over the last few days, and while I’m no longer a member, I do like to keep track of what’s happening in the world of romance.

There’s been quite a bit of controversy over RWA’s stance on e-published romance. In response conference-goers had the option to attend a Rogue Digital Conference. My friend Elise Logan took copious notes and posted them on her Scorched Sheets website. I invite you to take a look. They’re worth the read.

In the realm of happy excitement, friend and fellow Romance Diva, Jeannie Linn won a Golden Heart for her historical novel Butterfly Swords. In even better news, she also scored a publishing contract for this fabulous romance set in ancient Japan! Congratulations, Jeannie! Can’t wait to find your book on the shelves!

Me? I stayed home and played at the Not Going to Conference Conference (NGTCC) on the Romance Divas forum. Great workshops, great door prizes, and as always…great fellowship! And while I didn’t win any awards, I did discover that my ebooks are now available for sale at Barnes & Noble Online! Not a bad perk for my weekend *lol*

Until Tuesday!
