It’s wet and rainy here in the Pacific Northwest, as it should be this time of year. That doesn’t mean I can’t dream of sun and sand and warm tropical waters *happy sigh*
Here’s a nice specimen of a butterflyfish; the kind I enjoyed snorkeling with in Hawaii…

I love horses. I think it’s in my blood. My father trained and raced harness horses; a couple of my brothers are involved in the sport as well. Yep, horses speak to me…so when I saw this picture, I knew I had to share it with all of you!

What’s cuter than a handsome dog who’s obviously been working hard to herd…something? I’d like to say sheep, but knowing these dogs it could be anything from cats to kids *lol*

Fall is well under way, and while it’s a little past the time for elk bugling, this picture reminded me of my time in the Rockies. I no longer live in Colorado or Montana, but I remember the haunting call of the bull elk seeking his mate. Amazing.
